The Holistic European Project

The holistic research project realized within the framework of the European CONCERTO programme, bringing together many stakeholders from the public, private and academic sectors,  has been completed with convincing results. This initiative consisted in significantly reducing the consumption of non-renewable energy in three urban sectors located respectively in Neuchâtel (Switzerland), Dundalk (Ireland) and Mödling (Austria). Bauart collaborated as a partner in this European project by designing and constructing new high-performance energy-efficient buildings (Ecoparc housing), Campus Arc and Microcity as well as a vast solar power plant and a free-cooling network as part of the Microcity project dynamics.
