Test study on Gaswerk area in Bern

An information session open to the public was held on August 25^th 2014 in the courtyard of the Ryff factory in order to present the results of the test-study of Gaswerk area in Bern. The projects of the three interdisciplinary teams invited to reflect on the development of the sector were presented as part of an onsite two-week exhibition (23.08 – 07.09.2014). The final report of the test-study will be made public in October 2014, while the City Council of Bern will decide on the future developments of the area by the end of the year. Three interdisciplinary teams participated: Bauart Architects and Planners Ltd in Bern / Neuchâtel / Zurich, Harry Gugger Studio from Basel and MVRDV from Rotterdam.
