Solar Power Plant on top of Marin Centre

4'000 photovoltaic modules covering a surface of 6'410 m2, or the equivalent of 24 tennis courts, have been installed on the roof at Marin Centre. With this solar roof, the Migros cooperative has inaugurated the largest plant of this type in the canton of Neuchâtel. The expected power generation from the facility should reach a million kWh per year, i.e. the electrical current needed for 200 family homes.
