Smallhouse in the "NZZ am Sonntag"

This wooden, modular housing unit, « smallhouse.ch », is a concept offering approximately 75 m2 of optimized living space. Designed during the 2000s in the framework of research into the optimal use of resources and timber, it is entirely factory prefabricated and has the advantage of being mounted in a single day. Some forty of these houses have been erected so far in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. They are highlighted in an article in the "NZZ am Sonntag" on « Tiny Houses » which, in spite of their small scale, are particularly inventive in terms of housing typology and architectural quality.
