Round-table meeting in Strasbourg

Emmanuel Rey was invited to join a panel discussion entitled “The Urbanization of the Countryside in Europe” held on November 12 at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture in Strasbourg. Organized by the PUCA (the Planning, Urbanism, Construction and Architecture Programme) and led by Sylvain Allemand, the debate was part of the cycle of meetings on “Urban Countrysides” to mark the publication of the book “Densifying/Dedensifying, Reflection on Urban Countryside”  under the supervision of Béatrice Mariolle and Jean-Michel Léger. The talks took stock of a variety of issues concerning the future of peri-urban areas in countries as different as France, England, Italy, Belgium or Switzerland.
