First harvests from the rooftops of the OASSIS neighbourhood in Crissier

The inhabitants of the OASSIS neighbourhood in Crissier are enjoying the first harvests from the 600 m2 of urban gardens installed on the roofs of their buildings. These areas are located next to a vast photovoltaic power plant which, thanks to a partnership with Romande Energie, has enabled the creation of the largest MICROGRID in Switzerland, a private micro-grid for electricity on the scale of the neighbourdhood, offering the inhabitants a local and eco-responsible production of electricity.
