Opening ceremony of the Europaplatz Multipurpose Centre Bern

A new urban landmark on the west side of the City of Bern, The Europaplatz Multipurpose Centre is about to be completed. The project - in addition to the "House of Religions" - includes living areas (88 flats), restaurants, a car park with 195 spaces as well as commercial and administrative premises. After a planning period of over 10 years, the foundation stone of the edifice was laid in 2012. The building and its surrounding urban landscape will be officially opened on December 14, 2014, within the framework of an open-house day.
