Microcity in Neuchâtel

The specific conceptual and technological characteristics of the new complex built for the branch of EPFL and the scientific park of Noede in Neuchâtel are presented in the journal “Bâtir”. From political birth to concrete realization, the building is the result of a strategy generating new synergies, based on experimenting with innovative processes and continuous integration of sustainability issues. One of the common features of these multiple lines of action is the notion of hybridization, in other words the search for optimization through combining different entities, concepts, technologies and materials.
