Lecture at Geneva University

04.05.2018 | Organised by Geneva University (UNIGE) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), the Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Planning is offering an advanced training course covering the theoretical and practical dimensions of the subject area. Experts invited to give a presentation in this context  include Emmanuel Rey, whose talk dealt with the challenges involved in creating new urban polarities. In his lecture he elaborated on a number of features related to this type of project, based on the tangible example of the Oassis neighbourhood currently under development in western Lausanne, and grouping them into three main categories : spatiality and sustainability, timescale and processes,  organisation and governance.
