Inaugural ceremony of the Centre de Psychiatrie Communautaire du Littoral (CNP) in Neuchâtel

The official inauguration of the CPCL building was held on 4 February, 2016, in the presence of the different parties involved in the project. The transformed building now houses the Community Psychiatry Centre’s outpatients’ department for the Lac de Neuchâtel area. The Bauart bureau was responsible for developing the architectural concept for upgrading the building as well as its exterior urban layout. Spatial reorganization of the whole area has entailed creating parallel walls both outside and inside the building. External concrete walls integrate the access ramp and stairs, thus creating a light, streamlined entrance hall which offers a harmonious transition between the road and the courtyard. Inside, walls incorporate technical aspects, give structure to the space and provide exceptional zones for specific functions.
