House of Religions | Dialogue between Cultures

As part of the Europaplatz multipurpose centre in Bern, designed by the Bauart Bureau in collaboration with Urbanoffice, the House of Religions hosts eight religious communities under one roof. Five of them have a worship space. A Hindu temple, a mosque, a Christian chapel, a Buddhist temple and a prayer hall for the Alevis have been established in the same building to encourage intercultural dialogue and encounters between representatives of these different religious communities.  An article in the Migros Magazine Newspaper tells the story of this unique project and its international scope.
