Emmanuel Rey is one of the experts invited to give a lecture during a meeting of key stakeholders in the economy organized by Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), addressing energy-related issues, particularly solar, in the built environment. His talk presents strategies aimed at integrating environmental sustainability into the architectural concept, on the basis of fresh experience acquired more specifically during development of the Microcity complex in Neuchâtel. For example, the photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the building will meet the annual electricity needs of some 64 households.
