Competition Haldenacher Birmensdorf | 1st prize

With its “Duett” project, Bauart has won the competition organized by the "Baugenossenschaft Milchbuck Zürich (BGM)" cooperative for a new Haldenacher housing construction at Birmensdorf (ZH). Compact and identical, the two volumes fit subtly into the area’s landscape and morphological and topographical contexts. Typologically, the entrances, staircases and kitchens face the road, whereas the larger living spaces are  south-, east- and west-facing and enjoy panoramic views out over the countryside.
