Changing urban areas

In the context of a series of articles to mark the 20th anniversary of the Ecoparc association, Arcinfo devoted a page to the challenges of sustainable urban development. Interviewed on this occasion, Emmanuel Rey took a detailed look at the transition taking place in urban areas.  More particularly, this approach aims to reconcile a certain built-up density with awareness of a specific identity, retaining quality of life, reducing the environmental footprint, preserving biodiversity and developing the local economy.
