BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology is a process that involves the creation and use of an intelligent 3D model facilitating integration and decision-making during project development. Adopted by Bauart for over a year now, this approach enables our teams to work more efficiently in the design, visualization and simulation of a project throughout its life cycle. To strengthen our competence in this area a series of actions has been initiated at Bauart to provide a dynamic response to this evolution. Three staff members from our offices in Bern, Neuchâtel and Zurich are following a post-grad training programme on "Building Digitally" (MAS Digital Bauen) organized by the FHNW (Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz). As part of this training Perrine Willich, Thomas Schmid and Michael Stuetz were able to go to Palo Alto, California, to take a seminar on "BIM Leadership" organized with the "Center for Integrated Facility Engineering" at the University of Stanford.
